My 6 yr old son loves the book and it was a cheap buy. I tell him some of it's not written as we'd write it but that it's a story about a long time ago so they spoke differently and thus are writing differently. Anything that helps my kid practice reading and expands his vocabulary I'm game for. Parents and teachers can fine tune grammar skills.

A good starter book to introduce tales of King Arthur and the knights of the Round table.

My 3rd son loved the story. It was easily read independently. It was recommended by Pandia Press Ancients level 1.

This book is full of adventure,magic, and awesome action. I would have enjoyed witnessing many of these wonderful stories first hand! What a good read for children of all ages!

My son enjoyed it. He's eight. I thought the sentences were a bit too consistent in their shortness, and there was way too much use of the word "suddenly", which is a pet peeve of mine. But for a new reader, it probably works just fine.

This was probably a myth, but it still is great!!!!!! It is a tale of loyalty, friendship, and goodness. I would recommend this to everyone, even if you think it's childish, but in reality, it is not childish, because it is a story of loyalty, friendship, goodness, and the soul.

This book was one of three Bullseye Classics we bought for my son's second grade English class. He picked this one up as soon as the box arrived and had it read within an hour. He loved the stories and was able to re-tell them to his little sister. I hadn't heard the stories about "Big Hands" or "What do women want?" This collection really got his imagination going and he wants to read more about King Arthur.To tell you the truth, I didn't notice the problems with sentence structure, etc...I was enjoying the stories too much.

I really enjoyed The Education of a Trader and follow Livingston on Twitter, so I was excited to pick up this book. The book was well-written and provided many examples for how to buy stock pullbacks and when to sell. The rules for when to sell were clear so you dont feel like you have to guess what to do after you are in a trade. He shows where to place a stop loss, how to trail your stop, and how to pick a profit target. I liked the way he annotated the charts so you can see what he's looking for when he wants to buy or sell a stock. If you liked Minervnini's books or trade using the IBD / William O'Neil style, you will enjoy this book as well.

Clear, concise, and filled with actionable advice, Swing Into It is a tremendous addition to any trader's library. The free Excel included was an added bonus. There's not much detail on fundamental analysis, but Livingston focus is purely on technicals. In summary, if you're interested in trading pullbacks, this is a no brainer purchase.

I found Swing into It to be a well-written book with a clear, easy to follow strategy. As a visual learner, I really enjoyed the graphs and charts to help solidify information. I also really appreciated the reviews in the chapters that helped me get back on track of I felt a little lost. Highly recommend if you need help with your trading.

This book got my feet wet understanding the system of the stock market and the basics about trading. It's practical and helps you to make the actions to become and self taught investor in the stock market. It's great basics to know. Easy read.

I have used this book, prior to publishing 3 Poetry books, and 2 children's books with rhyming verse. Although I have searched through other available rhyming dictionaries, 'The Complete Rhyming Dictionary' is the Best I've viewed thus far. It's a reference I've turned to over-and-over for several years.It's literally the Complete rhyming guide that is concise, and extremely useful. This informative guide is helpful for poets, children's writers, and song-writers. This is one golden gem that continues to sit in my personal library, available for immediate use when needed. Highly recommended to poets, song-writers, and children's writers!

As of this writing, (2016), this dictionary is recommended for songwriters by instructor Pat Pattison over others, including online dictionaries, as it: divides rhymes into Masculine, Feminine,and three-syllable rhymnes, is organized phonetically by vowel sound, and it italicizes archaic words.1943 Edition Vs Modern Edition breakdownThere has been controversy going back years on this board about which edition you should get of this book, the modern one or the 1943 edition. I've bought both of them because of the controversy and I'll lay out the differences1) the 1943 separates out eat rhyme by groups so that under A (as in bay) you have:vowel: eye, cou-tru-ri-er etc...b: bay, etc...br: bray, etc.....the new edition lays them out altogether listed like soaffrayagleyairway....The old edition makes it easier to separate identities - words that are not true rhymes because the last syllable in both begins with the same consonant. Each page actually warns to only pick one from each group. How big of a matter this is is a personal choice, but I like the old way.Also the new edition prints one word per line as above (in four columns) whereas the old edition as above lists several words per line in two columns. So I believe the older edition has fewer words per page despite the smaller size of my hardback editions.Also, the older edition breaks words by syllables with accents. Very important.2) The old edition obviously doesn't have newer words in it.3) The old edition has a course in verification in the back that 90 pages long and is very good.4) As from that, the text of the old and new editions cover roughly the same material, re-written in the new edition.So I think the old edition is definitely preferable to me though the new one is very useful if you don't want to spend the money to the older one.

This is very useful, although I usually find that I have to find the rhymes I want without the help of a dictionary. But the format is much more useful than most: phonetic syllables to find rhymes for; words (with the proper accented syllable) in lists for "answers." It takes a minute, if you're used to word-for-word rhyming dictionaries, to catch on, but the tenth time you can't find the damn rhyme you have to have you'll be used to the system and if it's not here, revise previous lines. Having dealt with poetry for 40+ years, I didn't bother checking out the added, whatever it is at the front of the book, but you'll quickly turn, like any habitual dictionary user, to within a few pages of what you need. I recommend it as highly as any I've seen. Online dictionaries may be a bit faster, but this is much more complete, and geared to poetry, not the lyrics of adolescent music. My copy feels like it's been around a long time, but who cares? So have I.

with the internet alive and well, a rhyme book may seem like an odd thing to have. I went ahead and bought it as a birthday gift for a friend who is an aspiring rapper and he absolutely loved it. I left a message on the first page about how he will need it when he is on a world tour and might be without internet someday working on his next hit. When that day comes I hope he finds this book handy.

It was better than I would have even thought. I knew of rhyming dictionaries from my days of working at bookstores, but my roommate never knew they existed. I got her this one as a gift and she went nuts! She was so excited about having a rhyming dictionary...it was as if I'd given her a unicorn for a gift! The way this one is laid out makes it easy for her as she is a poet. Thanks so much for this great book!!

This book is amazing.Its a great way to explore WHAT words rhyme with a specific word (rather than constantly using all the usual "perfect" rhymes that are generally in your head). Definitely helping me become more creative!

Turns out Rhyming is a whole new ball game with Rhyming dictionary.Not only one syllable..but 2..3..4..and even 5 syllable words and phrases.Takes awhile to get used to this tpye of rhyming..It goes by phonics.Not the letters.I am improving my craft .every time I need to look something up.If you are a serious lyricist or poet This book and The Thesaurus are essential.Also Any book by Sheila Davis .One book is "Successfull Lyric Writing..A workbook and text book together.And Sheila Davis has another one out.
