My toddler loved this book when he was about 16 months to 20 months old. Now at almost 2 he's lost interest. There isn't really a story and the illustrations are very busy, which is a plus and a con. There's a lot of things to point out and name, but then there's also too much for them to process as well. It has a cute gimmick though which makes it a unique addition to a board book library.

Reading is something I love to do, so for my baby shower my sister had a really great idea that instead of cards guests bring books. I originally had one Bizzy Bear book, but my 11 month old loves it so much I could recite it without looking at the pages... and decided I needed to get some more.This is the ONLY book we have that he will actually sit down and listen to. I am sure it has something to do with the rhyming, colorful pictures and pop-ups it has on every other page. Not to mention they're very durable considering I have a child that breaks everything with his touch. The pages are really think and can be easily cleaned, so no need to worry about sticky messes.Highly recommended children's book!

Like: Purchased entire Imprint collection. All boardbooks contained the expected movable parts we've come to love! All books were received in great condition and were well packaged.Dislike: (Other than some of the book cover photos posted by the Seller(s) indicated no moveable piece in the cover, which caused me to wonder whether or not the particular boardbook contained moveable parts), none.Reason: Gift purchase.Reason: Purchased as a replacement.

My almost 2-year old loves all of the Bizzy Bear books. Bizzy Bear Pirate Adventure in particular is very colorful and imaginatively illustrated. The sliders & tab features are especially creative - one page has you turn Bizzy Bear's helm to "steer", another page has you "dig" with a shovel, the last page has you lift open the lid of a treasure chest. My daughter now says "Yo ho ho" whenever we read this. One minor warning: all the Bizzy Bear books are very sturdy - probably the sturdiest board books I've seen. They are not indestructible, though. Certain pages, depending on the type of pull tab or slider, are crafted with a thinner "overlay" page that allows for the sturdier page underneath to slide underneath it. My daughter has ripped this "overlay" page on one of her Bizzy Bear books (not this one though)and I had to tape it back together. I also ripped an overlay when I crammed one of these books into a too full car seat pocket. I just wanted to warn parents that some care is needed to protect certain pages, though I would not hold that against these books as a whole. They are fun, creative, great for fine motor skills, and can grow with your child. The illustrations are nicely detailed and you can ask your child to point out different animals, activities, etc., in addition to what is happening with the main character. Highly recommended.

Favorite so far reads it every day! It is durable and interactive

Bizzy Bear is my daughter's favorite book. I started reading this with her when she was 4 months old and now that's she almost 2 she still loves it. The artwork is really great and there are lots of things that you can ask your child to identify. The moving pieces are very sturdy and add fun on every page. Pirate Adventure is the best, but all of the books are fun and worth it.

This is probably my kid's favorite book, and I think it's pretty cute too. Sort of a pop up book for babies, as all the pages move. She's only 1.5 so she can't operate all the pages herself but usually with a reminder on how it works she can do it fine. She hasn't broken anything off the book yet, which is pretty impressive.. it seems to be made from a thick cardboard. Even the pop up and moving bits are. The book is really short though, I think there are 4 pages with moving parts.

This books are extremely simple (a.k.a "boring" if you are an adult), but the Bizzy Bear franchise has engaged our one-year-old in reading. He loves the movement and selects the Bizzy Bear books off the shelves and brings it to anywhere nearby to read to him. It's sweet and rally simple. In particular, the Bizzy Bear books would be great gifts for someone not familiar with toddler reading.

Müller's essays are particularly insightful as they clarify certain aspects of liberation theology (e.g. explaining its context and contribution to theology) while offering cogent reasons as to why liberation theology should be viewed as more than a mere regional theology. As the world tackles hunger, poverty, disease, and growing inequality, people of faith and theologians would be well served by reading this important follow-up to Gutierrez's classic work.

This is excellent writing by two very competent theologians committed to demonstrating how to live the Christian life in solidarity and in encounter with the poor. Absolutely worth reading.

This unique little book came to me lovingly wrapped in orange tissue paper with a Yogaso Logo sticker and a personally written "Thank you!" from the seller. Love Frida, and will try to pass her story along to my grand daughter. Love this series of informative books with a bit of bio thrown in to make it interesting for children and adults alike. Kudos Yogaso!

I love the idea of starting a new language as early as possible, and being in San Diego - learning spanish is a must! This little book is not only sturdy and well made, but the designs and content are seriously adorable. It's simple enough that a child would easily learn from it, but also detailed enough to be a good lesson in language. Plus - it's a cartoon Frida, I mean come on!!!

I bought this as a gift for a two year old. Each page features a number and objects to count (such as "dos flores/two flowers"). The pages are bold, colorful, and exciting. This is a great way to introduce little ones to Frida, art, and another culture/language!

So cute! I loved it! My son does too!

Buy it! I adore this woman and this is a great introduction to her. The pictures are precious and it spells out her life in small ways.I gave it to my niece who I hope can one day embody the fearlessness and independence of the woman we call FRIDA!!!

My 14mo boy likes it. The quality of paper and print are really nice, I would say better than average for board books. I get to teach them the numbers in either language, count with him and talk to him about other cultural things like the Casa Azul, etc. He pays a lot of attention because the graphics and the colors are very attractive. I also have the Cantinflas one from the same publisher and they're both very nice.

This book is so cute! I love the art style, and what a great way to bring Frida into a very little one's world!

Our 11 month old loves these books. We bought 3 for Christmas and she flips through them daily. The drawings are great and the contrasting colors are beautiful. Simple words in Spanish and English. I think it’s a great introduction to vocabulary in two languages!

Having awarded 5 stars to it`s forerunner, "The Divinity Code to understanding your Dreams and Visions", I expected a similar quality with this book: Well researched topics and scriptural references, sample interpretations, additional metaphors - the latter especially, since some of those listed in their first book refer strictly to the Australian culture.Whilst there is certainly no shortage of scriptural references, I find this book disappointing and to some extent misleading: The section prior to the metaphor list consists of only 70 pages - of these, entire chapters were simply copied from their earlier book! Neither is there any updating of metaphors; I feel the authors should have mentioned this fact.To sum it up: If you do have "The Divinity Code...." already, you will discover little that is new in this book. I certainly would not buy it again

Very eye opening. Made me really pay attention to what I had just begin to notice. My visa ends in a number, as does my social security number, debit card, 25 year old cell phone, son’s phone number, his hospital room number, and I just noticed that my mom passed on the month and day making the very same number.So I went through the Bible, wrote the verses that had the chapter and verse. The zoom in story really fits my gifts and calling.

I have looked for a book like this for a long time. I had to purchase another copy for myself after telling my sister in New York about this book. I sent her my copy and purchased me another. (I might keep this as a secret, or I'll be spending a lot of money on repurchases!)

This book has really helped me understand my dreams and vision much much better.

This is one of the books I've needed for years. I'm noticing more messages and confirmationsin the environment and this has really helped me to recognize and understand them. SinceGod does speak this way, I don't want to miss it.

If you own the Divinity Code you won't need this book it is basically the same thing. However, if it's you first time you will extremely appreciate this book it really helps you to interpret you dreams and visions.
